Future 2019 BMW Z4 concept was recently revealed to the public. We could notice and say that upcoming Z4 2019 is looking amazing. Production of this new 2019 Z4 will be based on the same platform, which was already used on Toyota Supra model. This platform is characterized by extensive use of high-strength steel and aluminum. So implementing this platform into new Z4 should mean lighter and more rigid car, but also it should have much better handling and overall performance. Speaking of 2019 Z4 dimensions, new version looks like it is shorter than previous model, and it has longer wheelbase as well. In addition, 2019 BMW Z4 roadster is lower and wider than its predecessor. Design is not 100% production ready model, but it is very close of its final edition. Front fascia BMW Z4 comes with their famous kidney grille and bigger air intakes. BMW Z4 for 2019 will probably not get such big wheels as the one seen on concept version. Rollover protection is also questionable on the production model. However, rear end with slim taillights design and center dual exhaust outlet is very plausible for the production model. Very futuristic interior design will probably be toned down a little bit.
2019 BMW Z4 engine performance specs
2019 BMW Z4 engine for the base S20i version should be 2.0-liter turbo-four unit. This BMW engine will generate around 180 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. Next in the lineup will be S30i, with the same 2.0-liter turbo engine. Only difference is that this version will have much better power output. BMW Z4 S30i will produce 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Future 2019 Z4 will use either 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. At the end, M40i model will deliver amazing 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque.
