2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Release date, price


Chevy will finally release all new 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 car. New version of Corvette ZR1 comes with improved aerodynamics and many new features. Exterior design will include redesigned front bumper, large air intakes on the sides, big carbon-fiber splitter, new engine hood, aggressive side skirts and center quad exhaust outlets. Rear wing will come in two different versions. First one is low wing, while the second one is high wing. Both versions comes with downforce-enhancing front underwing. Speaking of 2019 Corvette ZR1 dimensions, it is 176.9 inch long, 77.4 inches wide and 48.6 inches high. Wheelbase length is set at 106.7 inches.  Chevy introduced all new Sebring Orange Package for the 2019 Corvette ZR1. This includes bronze aluminum trim, contrast stitching and Orange seatbelts. Inside the cabin, upcoming ZR1 has carbon-fiber center stack and the dashboard and BOSE premium sound system. Optional Competition sport seats are also available, and they come with heating, ventilation and Nappa leather.

2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 engine performance specs

2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 engine will be 6.2-liter supercharged V8 LT5 unit. This powertrain is capable of generating 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. V8 engine is mated to either 7 speed manual gearbox or 8-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration time from 0 to 60 mph is achieved in only 2.8 seconds, while top speed could exceed 210 mph.  Standard ZR1 will run on Pilot Super Sport run-flat tires. However, best performance can be achieved by adding High Wing Package, which includes Magnetic Ride control and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Front tires are 285/30 ZR19 and rear are 335/25 ZR20. 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 fuel economy is rated at 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway for the version with manual transmission.  Automatic gearbox version will do 13 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.

2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 price is still unavailable, but it should cost around $110,000. 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 release date is expected sometime by the end of 2018, or in early 2019.
