2019 Mercedes CLS engine will probably be 2.0-liter inline-four unit generating 242 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. This will be base engine and it should be powering CLS E300. Second choice is 3.0-liter V6 engine with ability to produce 328 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Both versions will be equipped with 4Matic all-wheel drive system. 2019 CLS43 engine will be V6 unit delivering 396 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. CLS63 AMG will be powered by 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine generating 563 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque. However, S version will be even more powerful with 604 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. Mercedes should also offer diesel engines in the new CLS 2019. First option is 4-cylinder 2.0-liter engine generating 191 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Second choice is 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 254 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

2019 Mercedes CLS price should be slightly increased compared to the current version. We expect to see starting price just below $70,000. However, AMG versions could even go above $100,000. 2019 Mercedes CLS release date is expected in 2018.
